Congress only can provide Special Category Status to AP: Raghuveera

Srikakulam: Congress party alone can provide Special Category Status (SCS) to AP, said Pradesh Congress Committee president N Raghuveera Reddy. Concluding the Pratyeka Hoda Bharosa Yatra at Narasannapeta in Srikakulam district on Sunday night, the PCC chief said the Congress party would implement all the provisions mentioned in AP Reorganisation Act after assuming power in New Delhi.

Chattishgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Bhagal, former Kerala Chief Minister Oomen Chandy explained that Congress party alone cane provide SCS to AP. They also appealed to people to bless the party in coming elections for better future of AP state. 

TDP national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was also believing in Congress party regarding the SCS to AP, the party leaders explained. After realisation of facts, Chandrababu Naidu came out from the BJP alliance and relied on Congress party, they elaborated.

During 2014 elections, Narendra Modi assured better employment opportunities to youth after assuming power as Prime Minister but he forgot his assurances and started giving suggestions to youth on self-employment, the Congress leaders lamented. They hoped all the youth would vote against the BJP and teach a fitting lesson to Modi for cheating them on employment promises.
