Lavu Anjaiah’s election for TANA hailed
Vijayawada: Lavu Anjaiah Chowdary from Krishna district has been unanimously elected as the executive vice-president of Telugu Association of North America (TANA). A few noted people from the city expressed their happiness over Anjaiah’s election for TANA.
Speaking on the occasion, Tarun Kakani said that Kodali Naren also filed his nomination for the post of executive vice-president of TANA along with Anjaiah.
However, in the last minute, Naren withdrew from the race and Anjaiah was unanimously elected. He said that Anjaiah hails from Pedda Avutapalli of Krishna district and settled in Atlanta, USA.
Anjaiah is working in the IT sector and as part of social service, he joined as TANA member and had done many service activities. He has been elected as the executive vice-president of TANA for the years 2019–23.
He always stood in the forefront to help the Telugus in North America and took initiatives in starting various social service activites. He had also done many charity activities at his home town Pedda Avutapalli, Tarun added.
