YSRCP cautions voters on deletion of votes
Ongole: The public should regularly check whether their vote is in the electoral rolls or not, advised the YSRCP Ongole parliament constituency president and former Minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy.
Participating in the ‘Ravali Jagan.. Kavali Jagan’ programme at Aishwarya Nagar, Nirmal Nagar of the 36th Division, Balineni explained the public about the IT Grids India Private Limited, which is facing allegations like theft of Andhra Pradesh public personal data with the help of Seva Mitra app for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
He said that the TDP leaders are trying to delete the votes of people who are supposed to vote against them with the help of the details like voter ID, aadhaar number and caste in the data at IT Grids.
He said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is shivering with the fear of possible defeat in the assembly elections and that is why he is resorting to unethical practices using technology.
He alleged that the IT Grids have collected data of about three crore votes in the State. He asked the Telangana police, who are investigating the case to thoroughly verify how the personal data of the public reached into the hands of private persons.
He condemned that the AP government is harassing the person who complained about the data theft to the Telangana police. He asked the public to be vigilant in electing the next government and beware that the TDP is now deleting their votes.
If given the chance again, they will loot the assets of the public using the same technology, he alleged.
