Voters will teach a lesson to YSRCP in polls: Pulla Rao
Guntur: Civil Supplies Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao said that following directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the YSRCP chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has hatched a conspiracy and implementing plans for the deletion of voters names in the state. The TDP leaders staged a protest at Lodge Centre in Guntur city on Wednesday for the deletion of names from the voters’ list.
Speaking on the occasion, Pulla Rao said that the YSRCP would pay heavy price for deletion of names from voters lists in the ensuing elections. He demanded the election Commission to file criminal cases against those who applied form 7 for deletion of votes.
He warned that voters would teach a fitting lesson to YSRCP in the coming elections and added that welfare schemes launched by the TDP would help the party to come to power in the coming general elections. MLA G V Anjaneyulu said the voters won't believe the assurances of YSRCP and teach a fitting lesson in the ensuing elections.
Earlier, the TDP leaders took out a rally from party district office to Lodge Centre holding placards and registered their protest and raised slogans against the deletion of votes. They demanded the Election Commission to book cases against those who applied form 7 for deletion of votes. TDP leaders Dr Rayapati Srinivasa Rao, Yaganti Durga Rao, Mannava Subba Rao and Maddali Giri participated in the rally.
