Centre, TS govt economic terrorists: Naidu
Amaravati: The Centre has not helped the state in the past five years, Chief Minister of neighbouring state (KCR) has never cooperated, and now YSRCP chief Jagan has resorted to mega fraud (data leak).
The trio have hatched a major conspiracy to ensure Bihar- type political atmosphere in Andhra Pradesh and are terrorising the people of the state. This, according to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, sums up the situation in Andhra Pradesh in the run-up to the General Election.
Chandrababu Naidu said that the central government led by Narendra Modi and the TS government want a government that would be subservient to them after the 2019 elections. If that happens, then they might even collect cess for allowing the government to function here, he remarked sarcastically.
Calling upon the people to be careful and alert, Chandrababu Naidu said that all such machinations of the trio should be so handled that they would hesitate to even point a finger at Andhra Pradesh in future. He vowed that he would not allow their conspiracies to succeed.
At a press conference here on Thursday, Chandrababu said that action should be taken against Jagan for resorting to mega fraud and harassing the IT company IT Grids in Hyderabad and resorting to another fraudulent act of filing 8 lakh Form 7 applications for removal of names of TDP sympathisers among voters.
He said in the IT Grids case efforts were made to create a hype as if personal data has been stolen, though there was no truth in the allegations of data leak. This unthoughtful act has resulted in the company employees being terrorised and now the company is on verge of closure for no fault, he claimed.
The Chief Minister said the reality is that the TS government had stolen the data of Telugu Desam Party, including that of 65 lakh party activists, and had passed it on to YSRCP.
The Centre, on its part, has been ordering raids by Income Tax and ED against party leaders and sympathisers who have business interests in Telangana. The gameplan of Modi, KCR and Jagan is to hit at the roots of the state’s economy through sheer political terrorism.
They (Centre and TS govt) are not able to digest the fact that, despite bifurcation blues, AP had achieved 11.02 per cent growth rate, against the 7 per cent growth registered at the All India level during 2018-19.
The agriculture sector registered 10.78 per cent growth rate, against 2.7% at the all India level. The industries sector registered 10.24 per cent growth rate against 7.7 per cent growth at the national level.
In the services sector, AP registered 11.09 per cent growth rate, against 7.4 per cent at the all India level. AP ranked first in Ease of Doing Business, he said.
