Data theft allegation attention diversion tactic: Sivaji

​Vijayawada: Actor Sivaji dismissed the data theft allegations describing them as attention diversion tactics indulged in by the BJP-led Central Government in collusion with the Telangana government. Addressing the media at the Press Club here on Friday, Sivaji said that now nobody was discussing the truncated railway zone or special category status.

Producing a handful of documents supporting his argument, Sivaji narrated how the Telangana government indulged in real data theft in collusion with the Election Commission way back in 2015 to delete the names of voters in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and Nizambad district.

He said that nobody would do anything like data theft in Hyderabad after the fiasco like a vote for note scam. "IT Grid into focus is the high drama enacted by TS Government. But it ruined the Hyderabad brand image irreparaly," he said.
