Officials told to make foolproof arrangements for SSC exams

Eluru: District Collector Praveen Kumar has directed the officials to make foolproof arrangements for SSC examinations scheduled to be held from March 18 to April 3.

Reviewing the arrangements with officials here on Thursday, he said the arrangements should be made in such a way that the student should feel comfort in taking the examination. 

He said that 54,243 students are appearing for the examinations in the district. As many as 256 examination centres are being set up.

The Collector directed officials to arrange facilities such as drinking water, toilets and furniture in the examination centres. 

They should take measures to avoid copying in the examinations. As many as 14 flying squads would be arranged for the examinations. 

Special care is being taken to conduct examination at six problematic centres. Section 144 would be in force at the examination centres. 

All Xerox centres within 100 metres radius of the centres should be closed during examination, he directed.
