Discharge duties with dedication, poll staff told

Rajamahendravaram: Sub-Collector CM Saikanth Varma has advised the staff and officials to discharge duties with commitment during elections and deviation in this regard will be viewed seriously.

Addressing the members of flying squad, static, video, expenditure and accounts teams at his office here on Friday, he said all the squads and teams should execute the guidelines of Election Commission (EC). 

The video teams should shoot the political party meetings, rallies etc and expenditure and account teams also check the expenditure of the contestants and flying and static teams should focus on the movements of contestants and seize money or any other material carrying unlawfully.

Without prior permission, no employee is allowed to go to other areas and necessary action will also be taken if any one violates this, he averred.
