Health camp for women cops organised

Guntur: Rural SP SV Rajasekhara Babu and his wife Dr Manjula inaugurated a medical camp conducted for women home guards and women constables on the occasion of International Women's Day at Police Hospital here on Friday.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that there is need to conduct awareness programmes on the Acts for the protection of women. South Coastal Zone Guntur Range IGP Rajeev Kumar Meena was also participated. 

Earlier, Meena flagged off a rally conducted on the occasion of International Women's Day from the DPO to Guntur Convention Centre. 

Later, Meena along with SPs felicitated the women cops who exhibited talent in discharging their duties. 

Tenali DSP Snehita, police officials were among those participated.
