ONGC extends Rs 5.5 cr aid under CSR

Kakinada: ONGC’s KG basin has extended aid of Rs 5.5 crore for the year 2018-19 under corporate social responsibility (CSR).

According to ONGC sources, the assistance is being given for schools and for up gradation of tailoring unit of central prison in Rajahmahendravaram.
  
As part of the CSR activity, construction of toilets, strengthening of hospital infrastructure and construction of parking sheds in schools in East and West Godavari and Krishna districts will be taken up. 

The aid was disbursed to the beneficiaries on Thursday by BP Ram Prasad, DGM-head base of KG Basin in Rajamahendravaram and A K Jain, GM- head regional lab, Rajamahendravaram.

Speaking on the occasion, Ram Prasad said that ONGC is committed to the development of the operational areas and will walk the extra mile for improving the development index of the region. 

He sought the cooperation of the beneficiaries in spreading the message of ONGC’s contribution to society. 

He exhorted the beneficiaries to act as ambassadors of ONGC in the field. ONGC has immense potential and technical prowess to take on operational challenges and without compromising on safety of the employees, communities around and its environs.
