TV serials showing women in poor light: ZP CEO Surya Prakash
Guntur: Joint Collector-2 NVV Satyanayana said that there is need to give respect to women and added that development is possible when women are give opportunities.
He addressed a meeting held in the ZP meeting hall on the occasion of International Women's Day on Friday. He said that if women are respected, family will develop.
Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer PS Surya Prakasha Rao expressed serious concern for lowering the image of the women in the TV serials and said that women have more patience compared with men.
He stressed on need to give respect to women. ICDS project director Prasanna said women voters are more in the state.
Later, Surya Prakash distributed awards to women who exhibited talent in discharging their duties in various departments and felicitated them.
