Kawasaki Ninja 650 Launched In Blue Shade
The Kawasaki Ninja 650 ABS is now available in a snazzy blue shade, priced at Rs 5.33 lakh (ex-showroom)
Kawasaki India has launched a new blue colour shade for the Ninja 650 in India. The new blue-coloured Kawasaki Ninja 650 has been priced at Rs 5.33 lakh (ex-showroom). According to Kawasaki bookings for the new colour option has commenced across all dealerships in India and it will be sold in limited numbers. This is the first time that the Ninja 650 has gone on sale in India in this colour.
The Japanese bikemaker also added that it will discontinue the Ninja 650 ABS in black because of the introduction of the new shade. Kawasaki will continue to sell the Ninja 650 ABS KRT edition which was launched last year and is priced at Rs 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Speaking on the occasion, Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors, said, “We take a lot of pride in different colour combinations, though the green and black is our signature style. The Ninja 650 in black received a very good response in the Indian market. Now we are expecting the same for blue Ninja 650 ABS.”
There have been no mechanical changes made on the new Ninja 650 ABS as the update is only cosmetic in nature. Underneath the fairing sits the same 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that pumps out 68PS of power at 8000rpm and 65.7Nm of torque at just 6500rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. So if you’re planning to buy the Ninja 650, the new snazzy blue colour does make the bike look visually appealing and will help you stand out.
