Normally, number plates that are rare like 9999, 8055, AK 47 and others, will be auctioned by Road Transport Commissioner office for huge rates. As these are fancy numbers, we may assume that big money players will go upto 20 lakhs to own them.

But in UK, Afzal Khan, wants to sell a number plate for Rs. 132 crores. With that money, we can buy ten costliest luxury cars. 

Afzal Khan has a Bucati luxury car and for that he is using F-1, number plate from 2008. This is a fancy number plate as it gives a feel of Formula-1 sports car driver to the owner.

He bought the license plate for Rs. 4 crores in 2008 and now he is looking for 3200 percent profit over it. The number plate was in existence from 1904 and for 104 years, it was owned by Essex City Council.
