Indian Automotive Industry's "Vivek Chaand Sehgal" enlightened many minds at EO Gurgaon's Event

New Delhi: The automotive industry of India ranks amongst the biggest ones in the world; thanks to companies like Samvardhana Motherson Group (SMG) who has been producing world-class auto ancillary products since 1975. SMG leads the list of product suppliers to the global automotive industry and recorded a turnover of USD 9.1 billion (approx.) during 2016-17.

The chairman and co-founder of Samvardhana Motherson Group, Vivek Chaand Sehgal, is an Indian-born Australian businessman who co-founded the group with his mother. As of May 2017, Vivek Chaand Sehgal's net worth was estimated at USD $4.3 billion by Forbes and has over 36 years of experience in the automotive industry. He was recently a part of EO Gurgaon's learning event at The Leela Ambience, Gurgaon, where he enlightened the audience about his journey and shared his experience.

EO Gurgaon member, Anirudh Khaitan, shared his views on the session, "Well the most memorable part of the evening for me was when he said don't become the managing director of the company if you want to be an entrepreneur. Let professionals run the Company. It was truly an enlightening experience".
