Hyderabad airport wins CII award

Hyderabad: GMR-led Hyderabad International Airport has won an “Excellent Energy Efficient Unit” Award at the 19th National Award Ceremony for ‘Excellence’ in Energy Management organized on August 31, by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Hyderabad.  Vijay Rathod, Head - Passenger Terminal Building – Engineering of GHIAL received the award from Ajay Mishra, Special Chief Secretary, Department of Energy and Social Welfare, Government of Telangana and Pankaj Kumar, Secretary, Bureau of Energy Efficiency amidst the presence of other dignitaries and participants. 

Speaking on this recognition, SGK Kishore, CEO, GHIAL, said, “This recognition reaffirms our commitment to serve passengers and is testimony of our efforts to the make the best use of the energy resources available.  GHIAL is committed to exploring best-in-class energy efficient solutions.
