Meubles opens furniture store in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Meubles, a living-work furniture and interior décor store opened its first showroom in the city on Wednesday. The Rs 1.9 crore invested 6,000 sft space has furniture’s and interior decoration accessories ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 6 lakh.
According to the founders, every Indian spends nearly Rs 20 lakh on accessories for the interior décor of a home. Besides, many affluent prefer to shop for exclusives from other countries. Sirish Dayata, Co-Founder, Meubles, said: “People spend a lot on travelling to other countries for collecting these artifacts. Hence, we decided to bring it here, all under one roof. We have purchased these directly from the manufacturers in Switzerland, Turkey, Bali, Indonesia and other South East Asian countries.”
Meubles known as furniture in French, claims of being the exclusive store for hydraulic bar counters, indoor water fountains, 5D photo frames, root and resin furniture, green walls among others. Further, the founders have identified 12 cities across India to open Meubles, under franchise model. With higher purchasing power in the city, the store is expecting to clock a turnover of Rs 12 crore during the same period by next year.
