Ferns Estates bets on timeshare hospitality

Hyderabad: Bengaluru-based Ferns Estates & Developers, a leading player in real estate sector with focus on layouts, is now betting big on luxury timeshare hospitality segment. It launched Rosetta by Ferns which provides timeshare hospitality services for a one-time membership fee.   

“The objective is to develop hospitality properties at short distances from the metros and other key cities in South India so that our members can enjoy their holidays at a bouquet of luxury holiday destinations at 3-5 hour driving distances from the cities,” said Jai Sreedhar, Joint Managing Director and CEO, Rosetta by Ferns.

Rosetta by Ferns launched its services in the city so that members from here could join as its members. Over the next three years, the brand will invest over Rs 700 cr to build projects across Karnataka and other South Indian states. “We will initially build five properties in Bengaluru before setting up leisure properties in other places including Hyderabad,” Sreedhar said. 

It offers what it calls Club Rosetta Holiday Membership. “This is a highly-differentiated and flexible point-based membership programme, compared to conventional timeshare holidays available in the market. We provide members immediate access to thousands of resorts and holiday homes worldwide,” he explained, adding that the company was targeting 5,000 people as members.   

The company facilitates this membership programme will be facilitated through the ‘Rosetta’ mobile app, which will offer real-time inventory and provide discerning clients a sense of belonging and an opportunity to holiday at carefully curated luxury destinations at fraction of the cost. The memberships are aimed at young upwardly-mobile individuals and families looking for a quick break from their hectic work life and at a three-four hour driving distance from the key metro cities.
