LivFast rolls out inverters in AP, TS
Hyderabad: Gurgaon-based Livfast Batteries Private Limited on Friday launched its inverters in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana markets, which, it claims, come with 25 per cent faster charging and 25 per cent extra batter backup compared to similar products available in the market. The company appointed 22 distributors and 3,000 dealers across the two Telugu states to market its inverters range comprising 18 models, priced from Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000 apiece.
“We are aiming at selling 5,000 units in the two states in the first month of this launch,” Gurpreet Singh Bhatia, Chief Executive Officer, LivFast, told the media here after announcing the launch. According to him, the Telugu states account for Rs 700 crore or 5 per cent of the country’s Rs 15,000 crore inverters market.
“As elsewhere in the country, we are targeting 15 per cent market share in the two states. That way, we will have annual sales of around Rs 100 crore here,” he said. Part of SAR Group, LiveFast is present in automotive batteries including two-wheeler, and solar applications. It established a Rs 250-crore manufacturing plant with a capacity to make 18 lakh inverter batteries annually.
