VI Anand has to do a film for Anil Sunkara?
Young director VI Anand who received critical acclaim for his latest film ‘Oka Kshanam’ is committed to do a film for producer Anil Sunkara who made blockbusters like ‘Dookudu’ and ‘Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam’.
Producer Anil who bought the remake rights of the Korean film ‘Parellel Life’, which pits self-determinism against self-fulfilling prophesy through the case of a judge who, while investigating his wife's murder, discovers that his life may exactly replicate that of someone who died 30 years ago.
“Anil was truly annoyed but allowed the release of the supernatural thriller only after director VI Anand committed to do a film for his production house to compensate for the loss,” says a source, close to the production house who claims that Anil bought Telugu remake rights of the Korean movie for Rs 70 lakh.
“He was fascinated with this film and wanted to remake it, but now he is tad disappointed,” the source concludes.
