Neha’s dream debut ‘Mehbhooba’

Neha Shetty is an Indian film actress and model who appears in South Indian cinema, but primarily in Kannada movies. The actress is now making her T-town debut with ace director Puri Jagannath’s ‘Mehbooba’.

 The director who worked with top actresses like Ileana, Tammanah and Kajal, is launching the girl in T-town in glam-centric role. “Puri is grooming her and also giving her acting tips to make her a better actress,” says a source, close to the unit. 

Actually, Neha was a model who won the Miss Mangaluru title in 2014 and also was the first runner up in 2015 Miss South-India contest. Neha made her acting debut with the Kannada film ‘Mungaru Male 2’ in 2016. The romantic entertainer was a sequel to `Mungaru Male’ and she was cast opposite Ganesh. 

‘Mehbooba’ also marks the launch of child artiste-turned-hero Akash Puri. The film is being shot in picturesque locales of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan, according the source.
