Story:

The film is a normal revenge story. Govind Bhargav (Boman Irani) is a business empire owner and he has two sons. His elder son is Abhishikth Bhargav (Pawan Kalyan). AB's mom (Indraja) dies during his childhood and Govind marries another lady (Khushboo). Govind leaves AB at his uncle's(Thanikella bharani) home where he grows up there. At a point in time, Govind Bhargav gets killed by goons along with AB younger brother by Seetharam(Aadi Pinisetty). AB with a new name as Balasubrahmanyam joins his own company as a manager and how did he find the real culprits behind his dad's murder forms the rest of the story of the film.

Performances:

The film has a weak screenplay in the movie. This is one of the disappointing screenplays in the recent times. But Pawan Kalyan tried his best to carry the movie on his shoulders. In terms of the comedy timing, emotional scenes and the action sequences, Pawan Kalyan is the best. Khusbhboo and Aadi Pinisetty are too good in the movie. The other actors like Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Raghu Babu are okay in the movie. Anu Emmanuel and Keerthy Suresh roles fit in only for glamour purpose and they have not much scope to perform.

Technical Aspects:

The film has awesome camerawork from Manikandan. The editing work is okay. The music by Anirudh is good and he has come up with a brilliant audio album. At the same time, he also impressed with the background score. The VFX work and graphics work is ok. The artwork is impressive. The film unit spent a lot on the movie and the production values are grand.

Plus Points:

  • PK one-man show
  • Anirudh's music
  • Production Values
  • Camera Work

Minus Points:

  • Routine Story
  • Improper Entertainment
  • Dragged Screenplay

Verdict:

This film has a weakest screenplay and we can call this as a weakest work from Trivikram Srinivas for the first time. There is Trivikram's mark completely missing in the movie. The emotional scenes between Pawan and Khushbhoo are good but they fail to save the film. The changes that were made to the original story failed to impress. The story is completely routine. The characterisations are improper and we feel the villain is not powerful. The comedy is average and there is no proper scope for the other actors to excel. On a whole, the film disappoints big time but is watchable once for Pawan Kalyan's screen presence.
