Story:
Vishnu (Raj Tarun) is a happy-go-lucky-guy who has a close relationship with the mother. Without the help of his mother, Vishnu's life is incomplete every single day. In such a scenario, he loses his mother and hopes for the entry of his love Keerthi (Chitra) in his life. What happens then forms the story of the movie.

Performances:
Raj Tarun who has come up with the movies like Kittu Unnadu Jagratha and Andhdhagadu has come up with Rangula Ratnam this year.

The actor is usual in the movie. He tried to impress everyone with his regular acting and mannerisms. He was successful in his role with his performance. The actor is decent and improved a lot especially during the sentiment and emotional scenes. There is a lot of maturity in his acting.

Chitra Shukla was okay in the movie too. Sitara is another actor who has got a good role in the film. Sitara did well in the film and Priyadarshi who played hero's friend is decent. All the performances are good in the film.

Technical Aspects:
The film has a good technical team. The film has neat camera work. The cinematography is nice and the makers could have taken more care with the editing. The music scored by Sri Charan Pakala is nice. He impressed everyone with the background score as well. The artwork is nice. The locations are natural. The production values of Annapurna Studios is grand.

Verdict:

The female director should be appreciable for taking up an interesting love story. Sri Ranjani made a good debut with the film. She failed to take the story forward in an interesting manner. Except for that, she impressed everyone big time. The film fails to impress the audiences with the narration too. Except for some good emotional scenes between hero and his mother, there are not many scenes to talk about.

On a whole, the film Rangula Ratnam is good in parts but it has got no potential to win over the other releases at the box office this festival season.
