Lakshmi Manchu in a grey role

After not-so-impressive ‘Laxmi Bomb,’ actress Lakshmi Manchu is returning with a female-centric film ‘W/o of Ram’ which is touted to be a thriller, being directed by debutant Vijay Yelakanti and the film has been titled as W/o Ram. Vijay Yelakanti had earlier worked with SS Rajamouli. Adarsh Balakrishna, Samrat, Priyadarshi and Srikanth Ayyangar are playing other key roles. 

Speaking about the film, Vijay Yelakanti said, "It is a tale of a woman who believes in lies and gets into problems. This is very a different role for Manchu Lakshmi and she has performed brilliantly. We are very confident and pleased with the output. 

Currently we are in the post -production stage and will announce the release date soon." The thriller is being produced by Manchu Entertainments and People Media Factory banners. Manchu Lakshmi’s   international film ‘Basmati Blues’ is releasing on February 9 in which she plays a simple Indian farmer.
