Venky to travel by Metro Rail?
Even though many filmmakers have sought permission to shoot in the swanky Metro Rail for the last few weeks, it looks like seasoned star Venkatesh will supersede them by becoming the first Telugu big star to travel in the ‘Pride of Hyderabad’. The ‘Guru’ star, playing the role of a lecturer in the big-ticket entertainer, will be shuttling between his home and work place by the new-age train service.
Being bankrolled by ace producers Anil Sunkara and Suresh Babu, the film directed by Teja revolves around a college campus.
“We are thinking of shooting some key scenes with Venkatesh in the train, but we are waiting for the necessary permissions,” says a source in the unit. Even earlier, Venkatesh had shot some scenes in trains for films like ‘Preminchukundam Raa’ and ‘Jayam Manadera’ and would be looking forward to a swanky experience, adds the source.
Nevertheless, the rail route will get a boost if big films are shot in it giving a fillip to the modern rail service. Coming to the work front, the actor will be doing a film for Dil Raju and another film for Trivikram Srinivas in 2018.
