‘Jai Simha’ latest collections worldwide!

If there is any film this Sankranti season which didn’t end up in losses, it is definitely Balakrishna’s ‘Jai Simha’. Though the film is slammed by the critics for its routine content and 90’s storytelling, the masses lapped up the film as they found this better than its counterparts.

If we look at its collections till now, it collected 27 crores share worldwide and reached the breakeven. It minted 4.10 crores and 5.35 crores in Nizam and Ceeded respectively. The prime collections were from Andhra region where it got a share of 13.10 crores.

Area wise, it collected 3.43 crores in Vizag, 4.51 crores in East and West collectively, 3.58 Crores in Krishna and Guntur and 1.23 crores in Nellore. In both AP & TG, ‘Jai Simha’ collected 22.55 Crores. The film had a share of 42 lakhs in USA and 1.75 Crores in Karnataka. The rest of India and world were up to 1 Crore and the overflows are estimated to be 1.3 crore.

On the whole the film got back the theatrical rights amount and can be declared a hit. With the collections dropping heavily and interestingly projects lined up one after the other, ‘Jai Simha’ may close with very minor profits.
