The veteran actor who has done more than 500-odd movies still believes that success of a movie is in the hands of the Almighty. “People who jump to skies will eventually fall, since God will be observing our acts,” said the actor at an event of his upcoming film ‘Gayatri,’.

“I don’t like to make tall claims about my film, because I have never done that. I do my work with loads of commitment and discipline and leave the rest to destiny,” he adds. The actor praised Shriya Saran for her ‘scintillating performance as a village belle,’ and chided anchor-turned-actress Anasuya.

“An actor should turn up on sets at 6.30 am for a 7 am shot since I dislike indiscipline. All actors are paid employees and should abide by producer’s diktat,” he points out. The ‘Peddarayudu’ star attributes his success and work culture to late Dasari Narayana Rao, “Whatever I am today, because of his blessings,” he signs off. Vishnu Manchu, Madan and others also attended the event.
