Vijay Sethupathi puts 'Sye Raa...' on hold?
Reigning Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi, known for blockbusters like 'Pizza'and 'Vikram Vedha,' carved out a niche for himself in K-town. Sometime back, the producers of 'Sye Raa...' have approached Vijay to play a key role in their magnum opus.
"Vijay Sethupathi was impressed with the fiery role and showed his interest to work with megastar Chiranjeevi and also wanted to make his debut in Telugu film industry with a big budget extravaganza," says a source from Chennai.
With the second schedule of 'Sye Raa...." set to go on floors from February 6, the Tamil star hasn't allotted dates for the same. "Vijay wants to do this film since it will give him a big launch in T'wood but other formalities are yet to be fulfilled," adds the source.
Perhaps, the Telugu producers haven't given him the advance amount and got the dates for their shooting, concludes the source. Actually, Ram Charan and Surender Reddy wanted to make their patriotic film as a 'multi-lingual' movie and wanted actors from other languages. Hence, Vijay will be surely roped in after a couple of weeks.
