Update: 2018-02-09 18:05 IST

Rating: 2.25/5

After back-to-back failures, Sai Dharam Tej seems to be confident. As the D-day has come, Intelligent hits the theaters and here is the full review. Read on here.

Story:

Nanda Kishore (played by Nasser) is a gentleman who owns a software company. Teju (Sai Dharam Tej) is an employee who works in Nanda Kishore's company. Nanda Kishore suddenly commits suicide, after which the company comes under the in charge of a mafia don called Vicky Bhai. Who is this Vicky Bhai, Why Nanda Kishore commits suicide etc forms the rest of the story

Performances:

Sai Dharam Tej appears very energetic. He has done a good job in the movie especially, in action sequences.

Lavanya Tripathi looks beautiful and has performed well. All the other actors like Nasser, Raghu Babu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Venu, Jayaprakash Reddy, Prudhvi etc justified their roles well.

Technical Aspects:

Slow paced narration with a routine and predictable screenplay is a big minus point for the movie. The movie has a lot of flaws and it looks like the makers did not concentrate well on the film's logical making.

The Production values are okay. Music by SS Thaman doesn't help much. Camera work is good. On a whole, the film isn't sound technically.

Verdict:

Intteligent is one of the weakest subjects from VV Vinayak. The story is a regular one with no surprising or entertaining elements. Though the actors have performed well, there is nothing good about the story or the narration.

First-half itself kills the excitement with age-old commercial screenplay and concept. Sai Dharam Tej needs to stop imitating his uncles as it is no more going to elevate him as an individual hero.
