>Due to fear of tax raids, Sridevi’s father distributed his money among friends, relatives but after her father passed away not one of them repaid the money. To add to it, her mother happened to have made some wrong investments that eventually left Sridevi with no money of her own.

>Sridevi’s mother also underwent a brain surgery that left her mentally unstable. When she passed away, she had left a will bequeathing all property to Sridevi. But Sridevi’s sister filed a case on Sridevi saying when mother wrote the will, she was not in her senses, thus leaving Sridevi with nothing yet again.

>Sridevi was looked upon as a home breaker by Boney Kapoor’s mother who even punched her in the stomach in a lobby of a hotel.

>The actress started working at the age of four because she didn’t exactly have a normal childhood. All because of all the hardships she had faced, she built a wall around her so as to not let anybody in.

“From my personal experience with her, the only time I ever saw her in peace was in front of the camera that too only between Action and Cut ..That’s because she could cut off the harsh reality and escape into her own fantasy world, RGV wrote in his letter which he shared on the social media.
