Sridevi’s funeral to take place at 3:30PM in Mumbai tomorrow

Indian Envoy to UAE Navdeep Suri informed that all the local processes have completed and the mortal remains of Sridevi are now enroute to Mumbai.

The actress’ body was held by the Dubai police and was released to the family on Tuesday after the completion of all legal processes.

Sridevi passed away on Saturday night due to accidental drowning in the bathtub of her hotel room in Dubai.

Sridevi’s Final rites will take place on Wednesday afternoon in Mumbai. 

In a statement released by the Kapoor family, details of the funeral and last rites of the late actress were announced.

Last respects to Sridevi will be paid at Celebrations Sports club in Mumbai between 9:30 am to 12:30 pm tomorrow and the cremation will take place at Vile Parle Seva Samaj Crematorium after 3:30 pm.

The statement read,

The last journey will commence at 2 pm from Celebration Sports Club to Pawan Hans.

Cremation Ceremony: Vile Parle Seva Samaj Crematorium and Hindu Cemetery, Next to Pawan Hans, SV Road, Vile Parle West on 28th Feb 3.30 pm onwards
