Teen sensation Sai Pallavi who is basking in the glory of two blockbusters 'Fidaa,' and 'MCA,' now returns as a young mother of a kid in her upcoming film  'Kanam'(Karu in Tamil). "Its a wonderful film on mother-daughter bonding. In fact,I got carried away with my character and began to feel like a mother My co-star Naga Shourya did a good job. I wish the producers for a making a themetic movie a big success," said Sai Pallavi.

Young director Vijay added "I was ready with this story in 2013 but was waiting for the right time. As we know, the Telugu audience like to patronise novel themes and we are hopeful that it will do well in the two Telugu states," he adds.  Actually, Sai Pallavi is very selective about roles and looking for good content over big star films. The actress who played a bubbly lover girl in 'Fidaa' and "MCA' is going in for an image make over to play a mother, unminful of being typecast.

"Good story is the key,” seems to be the mantra for the talented actress who is also quite popular in Malayalam movies. She is able to strike a balance between regular heroine roles as well meaty roles to give herself an opportunity to showcase her immense talent, rather than sticking to one-type of roles.
