‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ to be action- packed
Superstar Mahesh Babu and ace director Koratala Siva are leaving no stone unturned for their upcoming big-ticket film ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ and want to dish out a grand visual spectacle. Despite being billed as a political drama, the film has loads of breath-taking action sequences at unusual places with different opponents.
“To make those action sequences captivating and visually-catchy, the director is relying on CG work to enhance the look and impact of death-defying action episodes involving action star Mahesh Babu and will live up to his larger-than-life image,” says an industry source. Interestingly, CG work is not used for Legislative Assembly sequences, but mostly for action blocks, since it is difficult to revisit the places.
“There is no CG work for Legislative Assembly since a set has been erected but visual effects come into play for kick-butt scenes involving the hero and others at different places.
They had to recreate the backdrop for some action scenes and also to raise the bar on action sequences to the next level with visual effects and the duration of the computer-generated episodes would be for more than 10 minutes and eye-catchy too,” adds the source.
It seems that director Koratala Siva is fascinated with action sequences now-a-days. He shot the best of action sequences in his films like ‘Srimanthudu,’ and ‘Janatha Garage,’ and enthralled the fans of their respective superstars.
May be, he wants to up the ante once again with ‘Bharat Ane Nenu,’ by giving a new dimension to mundane star-driven kick-butt scenes and set a precedent for his colleagues to follow suit.
