Did she snap at or slap him?

Well! We all know that Bollywood heroine Radhika Apte ‘slapped’ a top hero who tried to get too close for comfort. The hero is also touted to be an influential man. But, did she really ‘slap’ him?

In a recent interview to Neha Dhupia, Radhika was asked about this incident. She said the hero didn’t act inappropriately. While she was resting after the day’s shoot, he came and tickled the sole of her foot. Radhika said she was caught unawares and ‘snapped’ at him never to do this again. 

The problem is our Telugu media mistook ‘snapped’ for ‘slapped’ and gave an entirely different spin to the story. What more, they even pronounced the hero guilty. This is how a fake story was born and it was mistakenly believed to be true. A classic case of getting lost in translation. Isn’t it?
