Marriage blues: Shriya to be replaced?

Pretty actress Shriya Saran, who is back in Russia for a month after marriage, could be losing a plum role opposite Venkatesh since she will be staying back in Putin’s land for a month. “She is supposed to join shooting from April, but now, we have to look for an alternative,” says a source, close to the unit. 

“She will be returning to India on April 23 to take a call on her next project,” the source adds.  The actress was last seen as a doting housewife in ‘Gayatri’ and received a  good response for her performance and demur looks. After portraying mostly glam-centric roles, the diva has become a sought-after actress for performance-oriented roles these days.
