Samantha Own Dubbing For Mahanati

Actress Samantha at various events stated that Chinmayi Sripada’s fascinating voice is one of the major reasons for her success. She indeed didn’t show much interest to dub for her roles in films, though the Akkineni Bahu can speak Telugu fluently.

Latest news is Samantha is dubbing for herself in Mahanati, biopic on legendary actress Savitri. Since director Nag Ashwin requested Sam to lend her voice for her role in his latest directorial as to bring realness, the actress has readily accepted his proposal. In fact, all the other artists working for the film are dubbing their own voice.

Currently in post-production stages, Mahanati has Keerthy Suresh playing Savitri in the prestigious venture bankrolled by Priyanka Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies Banner.

The film also has Naga Chaitanya, Dulquer Salman, Vijay Devarakonda and Nani in key roles. Mahanati will be released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil on May 9th.
