New Case Filed Against Priya Prakash

We all know that Malayalam actress Priya Prakash Varrier turned into an Internet sensation with just a wink in the viral song ‘Manikya Malaraya Poovi’ from the film ‘Oru Adaar Love.’ The team now lands in another controversy, after Hyderabad-based parties have reportedly filed a plea saying ‘objectionable scenes’ were shown with lyrics of the song that was reportedly written in praise of Prophet Mohammed and his wife, Khadeeja Beevi.

They also made it clear that winking is itself a huge mistake and they treat it as a sin in Islam and it is completely to misrepresent their religion. Earlier, the same kind of case was registered against the director for using the sacred song, but Supreme Court had stayed all criminal proceedings against Priya Prakash Varrier and Omar Lulu. They even said that no FIR could be lodged in future in any state against Priya.
