Ravi Teja inks a 3-film deal?
Seasoned star Ravi Teja who returned with a bang with ‘Raja The Great’ has reportedly signed a 3-film deal with leading producer Ram Talluri. Right now, the actor and producer are doing a big-ticket film ‘Nela Ticket’ and the ‘Kick’ star has to do two more films under the same banner. “Actually, the star and producer have been good friends for quite some time and finally, they made an agreement and resolved to do three films,” says a source, close to the unit.
After the release of ‘Nela Ticket,’ the actor will be doing two more films with directors Bobby and BVS Ravi respectively but they can happen in due course of time and not back-to-back, adds the source. “Even though Ravi Teja has worked with leading production houses, he never signed this kind of a deal in his two-decade-old career.
Maybe, the actor wanted to bring in Bollywood style of working, where big stars like Akshay and Ajay Devgn sign deals with production houses to make it more professional,” points out the source. Close in T-town, Mahesh Babu and 14 Reels International had reportedly inked a 3-film deal and ended up making three big films `Dookudu,’ `1 Nenokkadine’ and ‘Aagadu’ and now, it the turn of another actor-producer to revive the habit.
