Sri Reddy's episode reaches Smriti Irani!

 Casting couch issue appears to have woken up the Central Government. Thanks to Sri Reddy’s nude protests, the issue of casting couch in Telugu industry is now a world news. 

Now, the National Human Rights Commission has taken a serious view of the incident and taken the issue suo motu. It has issued notices to the Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry to respond within four weeks.

The ministry is headed by Smriti Irani, who is closely connected with the film and television industry and has time and again has raised the issue of casting couch. Smriti Irani played several TV roles, including the immensely popular Tulsi on TV. It appears Sri Reddy’s protests have reached the right place.
