Amyra Dastur cuts hair for a role
Even new-generation actresses are game for makeover and realistic portrayals. Young starlet Amyra Dastur didn't mind cutting her hair for essaying a role in Hindi film ' Rajma Chawal' which also stars Rishi Kapoor.
Actually, Amyra was playing the role of a village belle in Telugu film 'Rajugadu' opposite Raj Tharun and her look demanded a free-flowing hair. Meanwhile, she got an offer in a Hindi film, wherein she had to chop off her hair to fit into the role of badass girl and began shooting for the same.
"Suddenly, Telugu producers wanted Amryra to shoot some scenes for her Telugu film. She managed to get the village belle look with hair extensions and completed her work to the satisfaction of the unit and proved to be a thorough professional," says a source, close to the actress. Who said B-town divas are good for only glam-centric roles, because they are also choosing meaty roles to showcase their acting chops. Truly, a good mix of talent and good looks.
