Telugu Film Industry Guidelines For Women Safety

The Telugu film industry is finally moving towards solving the issues of women in the workplace. The industry is a safer place for everyone to work and the same message is being sent to all those who are worrying to earn an employment here.

After the multiple issues on Casting Couch in the industry, the film industry has come forward to take measures for the safety of women. They have ascertained that safety of wannabe actresses, junior artistes and every woman who wishes to be a part of the film industry.

The film industry released some official guidelines of how they will approach the women safety issues in the industry. The industry has set a CASH Committee Against Sexual Harassment which will address any issue faced by the women in the industry. An SHE Team Hotline is also arranged for the safety of women. All the auditions will be recorded on a camera and one woman will be deputed particularly to handle the auditions procedures. Sufficient Toilets/Amenities for junior artistes (women) will be provided at shoot locations.
