An ode to grandmother

After father and mother, T-town filmmakers seems to be weaving stories around grandmother. For instance, Naga Shaurya’s upcoming film ‘Ammamma Gari Illu’. The teaser of the movie was recently launched and Shaurya seemed nostalgic speaking about the film. The movie is directed by Sundar Surya. 

During the teaser launch event, Shaurya  ecounted his earlier days. “A few years back, my Ammamma (grandmother) passed away and when the director came up with this film, I readily accepted it for her”he said. He added that the film revolves around a grandmother and that all the roles in the film are positive. Moreover, actress Sumitra is playing the role of the grandmother in the movie.

It also marks the comeback of actress Shamili who last release ‘Oye’  failed to click at the box office. Actually, Naga Shourya who is riding high with the success of ‘Chalo’ is now doing a family entertainer and a feel-good film. “All the characters  share a healthy relationship’ aver makers.
