First Weekend: Kaala Becomes Highest Grosser

The breaking news from Tamilnadu states is that Super Star Rajinikanth's latest movie Kaala grossed 1.74 Cr on Sunday and took the collections of the movie to 6.64 Cr. 

The four days gross in Chennai city is phenomenal and the movie opened to packed houses in all the areas. The fans are elated with the success of the movie and are revisiting the magic of the superstar on the big screen multiple times.

After its opening 4 days, Kaala with a gross of 6.64 Cr is already the highest Tamil grosser in Chennai city, in 2018! Superstar Rajinikanth's hold is as strong as ever in Tamilnadu. The film is also holding a similar grip over the Telugu box office. Lyca released the movie on their own in association with NVR Cinema in Telugu.
