Rajinikanth's Kaala Four days Worldwide Collections

Amidst huge expectations, Superstar Rajinikanth's Kaala has finally hit the screens in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions on June 7 and received mixed reviews from the audience. When compared to Rajini's earlier films, this film disappointed the audience a bit. Despite the result of the film, it has grossed around Rs. 100 crores worldwide in just four days.

In Tamil Nadu, the film has grossed Rs. 36 crores only in Chennai and in four days, the city has got a record-breaking of Rs. 6.64 crores which include Rs. 1.76 crores on Thursday, Rs. 1.44 crores on Friday, Rs. 1.7 crores on Saturday and Rs. 1.74 crores on Sunday. In Karnataka, Kaala has collected around Rs. 8 crores in four days.

His last film, Kabali had a record-breaking opening day collections of more than Rs. 10 crores, which failed to re-created by Kaala. In Kerala, the film bagged Rs. Five crores and was unable to live up to the expectations there. From Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, it collected Rs. 12 crores with a share of Rs. 6.5 crores after the opening four days. 

In Kaala, the film has grossed more than US $1.6 million which is close to Rs. 11 crores after four days and turned into the third-highest Kollywood grosser ever in America, after Kabali and Enthiran, both Rajini starrers.
