I am donning a meaty role, says Aamani

Seasoned actress Aamani said that her next film ‘IPC Section Bharya Bandhu,’ in which she plays an important role should be watched not only by those who  have already been married but also by spinsters.  The actress, who did several films like ‘Mister Pellam’,  ‘Jambalakidi Pamba,’ ‘Shubhalagnam’ and ‘Shubha Sankalpam,’  was recently seen in Mahesh Babu’s blockbuster ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ in an important role after a long hiatus. 

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on  Monday, Aamani  said that when she heard the story, she was hesitant to act in ‘IPS Bharya Bandhu’ as she was already acting with top heroes and the lead pair in this movie were newcomers. However, she said that she finally decided to act in it as it would give her an opportunity to showcase her acting skills in an important role. 

The role would be permanently etched in the minds of the audience, she added.  She said that the story highlights the importance of the institution of marriage. Nowadays, couples were getting separated on flimsy grounds and if they watch this film, they would understand the strong bond between the husband and wife and would also strengthen family ties, she added.  Produced by A Sambashiva Rao under the banner of Aaluri Creations, ‘IPC Bharya Bandhu’ is slated to release worldwide on July 5.
