Lecturer Sriram is my spiritual guru, says Pawan
Superstar Pawan Kalyan released the highly philosophical song “Ettagayya Shiva Shiva” of the film ‘Aatagadara Shiva,’ a remake of the Kannada hit ‘Rama Rama Re’ at the Jana Sena party office premises in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Produced by Rockline Venkatesh under the banner Rockline Entertainments and helmed by Chandra Siddharth, ‘Aatagadara Shiva’ is all set to hit the screens worldwide on July 20. It is the story of how a convict, sentenced to death, escapes from the gallows and meets the same person who was supposed to hang him. Without knowing their true identities, they travel places together, meet people and share their experiences. The movie also has a strong philosophical undertones.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan said that he was mesmerised by the song on Lord Shiva written by Vaibhav and liked Chaitanya Prasad’s literary style very much. He said that he knew Uday Shankar right from his childhood and his father Sriram, a Lecturer in English was his teacher. Sriram is also my spiritual mentor, he added. He said that Chandra Siddharth has a unique style of filmmaking and his brilliance was reflected in his earlier film ‘Aa Naluguru.’ He said that he was floored by the visuals of the film which looked quite exquisite. He expressed the hope that the film would become a blockbuster.
