‘Paper boy’ teaser on July 21

Director-turned-producer Sampath Nandi is all set to re-create the magic of his blockbuster 'Raccha' with an upcoming flick 'Paper Boy'. The first look of the film has evoked a good response and now, the teaser would be released on July 21, aver makers. Billed to be a low-budget movie, it has Santosh Shobhan and newcomer Aishwarya Vhatkar playing lead roles. 

Sampath himself has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the musical love story to be helmed by Jay Shankar for Sampath Nandi Creative Works, which is floated by Sampath. ‘Paper Boy’ marks Sampath’s second outing as producer after his debut, 'Galipatam', which had Aadi playing the lead role. However, it failed to evoke any impact at the box office. Even his peer Sukumar has turned a producer and made films like 'Kumari 21F'. No doubt, new-age directors are trying to expand their brand equity by turning producers.
