Story:
Wisam Ahmed (Kamal Haasan) along with his team Ashmitha (Andrea), Nirupama (Pooja Kumar), Jagannadham (Sekhar Kapur) reaches India to trace Omar (Rahul Bose). Did Wasim get in touch with Omar? What happens in the end? Forms the story of the movie.
Performances:
As usual, Kamal Hassan is perfect in the roles of Vishwanadhan and Wisam Ahmad. He has put the brilliant performance in the movie and proved the fact that he is a versatile actor. Kamal Hassan is certainly a star who never disappoints, and the same happened with this film. Rahul Bose as Umar Qureshi is impressive in his role and he has come up with a strong performance. Pooja Kumar and Andrea have made their presence felt with interesting and impressive performances. Shekar Kapoor is good in his role and played his part well. Vahidha Rehman is perfect in a small role and impressed everyone. Jaydeep, Russell, Veer Sawar, Deepak Jethi, Anath Mahadevan and others are okay in their parts
Technical Aspects:
The film's camerawork by Sanu Varghese and Shyam Dutt is top notch. The cinematography is the major asset for the film. The editing by Mahesh Narayan and Vijay Shankar is neat and good. The music by Ghibran is neat and outstanding. The background score he scored for the film is perfectly perfect. The writing by Kamal Hassan is coming with no complaints. The production values maintained by Aascar films and Raj Kamal entertainments are grand. The film's runtime is crisper. On the whole, the technical team did their best.
Verdict:
The film Vishwaroopam 2 is true to the first part of the movie. The film started on an interesting note but ended disappointingly. It has all the required elements that could hold the curiosity of the audiences. All the actors have put decent performances in the movie. The film has got a gripping screenplay. Kamal Hassan has written an interesting script that has the emotions in the right proportion. The scenes looked lengthy, but they are passable. Kamal Hassan has delivered yet another interesting performance in the movie. The production values are grand and lavish. Ghibran's outstanding BGM made the movie worth a watch. On the whole, the film entertains and not to be a missed one.
