The trailer of the film ‘Adugo,’ helmed by Ravi Babu with a piglet in the lead has been launched at the Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad a few days ago. In fact, work on the trailer began two-and-a half-years ago. It is being bankrolled under Flying Frogs Productions and  presented by Suresh Productions.  Speaking to the media after launching the trailer, Ravi Babu said that it was his fifth film and many of his friends thought that he was out of his mind for deciding to make a film with a piglet in the lead. They also feared that the Muslim community might be angry if a piglet was playing a lead role, he added.

He said that it took a lot of time for them to showcase a pig in 3D animation to make it look like a real one. Graphics also took up lot of their time, Ravi Babu added. He said that it was the debut film for music composer Prashant Varma. Ravi Babu said that the shooting part of the movie was completed and the audio of the film would be launched soon.

Producer Suresh Babu, who is presenting this film said that in the past, movies made on animals were highly successful and expressed the hope that ‘Adugo’ would also do well at the box office. The film would also be dubbed into Tamil, he added. He said that the piglet shown through graphics appears real and added that the musical score, especially the title song was excellent. Children would definitely enjoy the film, he added.
