Lakshmi Rai in author-backed role

Lakshmi Rai is essaying an author- backed role in the movie ‘Where is Venkatalakshmi’ bankrolled by producers Gurunath Reddy and Anand Reddy under the banner of ABT creations. The film, being helmed by Kishore Kumar has Ram Karthik playing the male lead while Poojitha Ponnada is another female lead in the movie.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad a few days ago, Lakshmi Rai said that it was an out and out comedy entertainer and a song on her was beautifully choreographed by Sekhar. She said that 70 per cent of the film’s shooting has been completed and the entire film unit has put in a lot of efforts.       

Producer Gurunath Reddy said that they started the shooting of the film two months ago and completed 20 days of shoot in Amalapuram and still 10 days of shooting remains. He said that Lakshmi Rai did a splendid job and they were planning to release the film on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali this year. Kishore Kumar thanked the producers and Lakshmi Rai for giving him an opportunity to direct the film. Another producer Anand Reddy and others were present on the occasion.
