No promotions for crazy multistarrers
The promotions play a key role in the outcome of a movie. Especially, when it comes to the multistarrers, despite creating a hype, promoting the movie also results in good collections. But the makers of upcoming Tollywood multistarrers are not showing much interest towards the promotions.
Mani Ratnam's directorial 'Nawab' and Nag-Nani multistarrer 'Devadas' are slated to get released on 27 September. For the namesake, 'Nawab' has a starry cast including Aravind Swamy, Jyothika, Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Aditi Rao Hydari etc whereas 'Devdas' features stars like Nagarjuna, Nani, Rashmika Mandanna and Akanksha Singh in the lead roles. Though the expectations are high on these films, the makers are not trying hard to promote the movies. During the interviews, Nag is commenting that 'Devadas' is a comedy entertainer but the audience might not be ready to see star heroes doing comedy on screen.
On the other hand, director Sriram Aditya and Producer Ashwini Dutt have pinned all their hopes on this film. We have to wait and see whether this comedy entertainer and 'Nawab' succeed in impressing the audience or not.
